We made it to April, Vandals! Celebrate Spring and the final months of the semester by attending some of these exciting activities and events happening on campus! Get outside and have fun with friends this week! 

Women’s Leadership Conference 

This Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., the Women’s Leadership Conference will be hosted in the Best Western Conference Center. This event is a collaboration between UI and WSU, and is an opportunity for learning, networking and sharing. The event is open to individuals of all gender identities who want to support and empower women in leadership. More information can be found here

Get Crafty 

The MILL at the Library is once again hosting Make it @ the MILL this Wednesday from 12:30-4 p.m. This week, attendees can celebrate Spring by making their own plastic bag flowers! As always, the workshop is free and all materials are provided. 

Women’s Center 

The Women’s Center is hosting another Lavander Lunch this Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Memorial Gym room 109. All students are welcome for this free lunch, with an opportunity to connect with the Women’s Center and spend time with friends. 

Enjoy some Jazz 

The Lionel Hampton School of Music is presenting a performance by the UI Jazz Bands and Jazz Choirs this Friday from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium. Attendees can enjoy an upbeat night of Jazz. Tickets range from $10-12 and can be purchased online

Move and Play Field Day 

Join the Public Health Club this Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the Tower Lawn for Move and Play Field Day! Enjoy music, sidewalk chalk, games and fun at this social event. Take advantage of the sunshine and get out to spend time with friends, and maybe meet some new ones! 

Vandal Athletics 

Vandal Women’s Soccer will be kicking off their season this Wednesday against WSU from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
