The University of Idaho will once again be hosting Joe’s Closet, an opportunity for UI students to obtain gently-used professional attire for free.
Career Services will also be present to take free professional portraits.
These resources are intended for use in job interviews, academic presentations or other career-related events.
This two-day event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The event will be held in the ASUI Vandal Lounge located in the Idaho Student Union Building of UI’s main campus.
The description of the event states: “Find that business suit or outfit that works for you and put your best face forward with free clothing and accessories at Joe’s Closet.”
The event previews many other professional events held by UI Career Services, including the Fall 2026 Career Fair held on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 1:30-5:30 p.m. at the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
Joe’s Closet is funded through a combination of donated clothes and contributions from grants and partnerships. Financial donations may also be used to purchase additional clothing and supplies.
Information on the event can also be found on UI’s event website.
