UI’s event line up for the semester  

From football games to water week, these next couple months are already lined up with events

The University of Idaho is starting off the fall 2026 semesters with a bang! Be sure to check out these school wide events; 

AsiaPop!  

Running from Monday, Aug. 24 – Friday, Sept. 11, The Habib Institute of Asian Studies is hosting a celebration of contemporary Asian culture through music, fashion, art and film. This year’s theme: “AsiaPop! Dark.” Focusing on the more frightening aspects of Asian culture, and how that reflects across the world. This Tuesday, Sept. 1, the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center is presenting “Ringu” at 7 p.m. 

Education Abroad Fair  

Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the ISUB plaza is the annual study abroad fair. Learn about programs, opportunities and scholarships! Talk to students who have traveled abroad and begin your globetrotting adventure! 

Vandal Football Season 

Vandal football is back with our first home game scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. against the Lamar University Cardinals. Other home games in the month of September include the Tenth Idaho Potato Bowl on Saturday, Sept. 19.  For more information on football games this season, go to the university’s athletic website.  

Water Week  

Hosted by the Student Sustainability Cooperative (SSC) and Vandal Entertainment, water week is a week-long event to get students engaged in water conservation throughout the Palouse. These events include free reusable water bottles, Aqua fest and volunteer events. Water week is from Monday, Sept. 14 – Friday, Sept. 18. 

Vandal Volleyball 

The University of Idaho Volleyball has begun, with our next home game scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24, against Idaho State!
