Happy Monday, Vandals! It’s another wonderful week on campus with more fun events happening throughout this week.  

Full Moon Arboretum Hike (Monday, Feb. 2) 

Meet the Outdoor Program at the Student Rec Center at 7 p.m. to participate in a full moon hike around the arboretum. Hot drinks will be served to keep everyone warm! Bring your own mug and enjoy this free hike. Contact the Outdoor Program with any questions at [email protected] or 208-885-6810. 

Renfrew Colloquium (Tuesday, Feb. 3) 

The weekly colloquium will continue this week, with Jack Sullivan (biological sciences) as the speaker. The title of this week’s presentation is “Using Machine Learning to Predict Patterns of Biodiversity.” This event is completely free and open to all, and it will take place on the first floor of the University of Idaho Library’s first floor from 12:30-1:30 p.m. 

20-Minute Meditation (Wednesday, Feb. 4) 

Join a short 20-minute Zoom meeting to engage in some supportive mindfulness meditation to ease stress, anxiety and calm emotions. This event is free and open to all. The session can be accessed here

Friday Crafternoon (Friday, Feb. 6) 

Join the Violence Prevention and Education Office from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the Memorial Gym office 109 for a fun and relaxing afternoon of crafting. Supplies and light snacks will be provided. This event is free and open to all.
