What’s happening at UI this week

Don’t let the gloomy weather get you down this week. There’s plenty of exciting activities and events happening at the University of Idaho this week that are sure to lift spirits. 

Halloween Crafts 

With Halloween right around the corner, there’s several fun ways to celebrate and get crafty with friends. On Tuesday, students have the opportunity to carve pumpkins with friends in the International Programs Office from 3-6 p.m. 

On Wednesday, the MILL in the UI Library is  crafting spooky mini piñatas from 12-4 p.m. All attendees can make their own custom mini piñatas just in time for spooky season. 

Cabaret 

UI’s theater department will be presenting the musical “Cabaret” this Friday through Sunday. Admission is free for UI students, and performances are Friday and Saturday from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Hartung Theater. Tickets can be purchased online and more information can be found here

Monster Mash Bash 

This Thursday students can get all dressed up and party with friends at the Monster Mash Bash presented by Vandal Entertainment. This costume party starts at 7 p.m. in the ISUB Summit Room, and also includes tarot reading and crafts. 

Vandal Sports 

Vandal fans and athletes have a busy week in store with so many programs competing. Beginning on Thursday with Vandal volleyball going up against Montana State University from 6-9 p.m. in the Memorial Gym. 

Friday the swim and dive team will be competing against the University of Northern Colorado starting at 4 p.m. at the UI Swim Center. 

Volleyball plays again on Saturday against the University of Montana from 1-4 p.m. at the Memorial Gym. 

On Sunday, Women’s basketball is taking on Seattle Pacific University from 2-5 p.m. in the ICCU arena.
