Happy homecoming week Vandals! There are so many exciting events happening this week that UI students and the Moscow community won’t want to miss. Keep an eye out for these homecoming festivities, educational opportunities, and musical celebrations.  

Homecoming  

There are so many homecoming activities to participate in this week, some highlights including the Serpentine and bonfire event Friday starting at 8 p.m. at the UI golf course and ending in the Kibbie Dome parking lot. The homecoming parade begins Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in downtown Moscow, and the homecoming football game against Northern Colorado is at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Kibbie Dome. Creative Opportunities  

If students are feeling crafty this week, there’s two great opportunities to explore their creative side with friends this week. Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. in the Mill, ‘Make it at the Mill’ is creating dragon eggs. Anyone can stop by and make their own magical dragon egg craft free of charge. Friday from 12-2 p.m. in the Women’s center ‘Friday Crafternoon’ is giving students the chance to enjoy a free meal, make a craft, and relax in a safe environment with friends.  

Vandal Sports  

UI Volleyball is facing off against Eastern Washington University this Friday at 5 p.m. in the Memorial Gym. The football tailgate begins at 3 p.m. in the ICCU Arena Plaza on Saturday, and the game begins at 6 p.m.  

Music  

A faculty recital featuring Mark Thiele will be happening Thursday from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the LHSOM Haddock Performance Hall. Tickets are $10 to watch this tuba concert, and can be purchased here or at the door.
