Crumbs: garlic shrimp

A dinner recipe for when you don't feel like cooking a complex meal

Garlic shrimp | Nicole Hindberg

If you like seafood, shrimp is most likely in your dinner rotation. This garlic shrimp meal is an easy and delicious dinner. Even though we have more time right now to cook, we don’t always feel like cooking complex meals.

Serving size: 3-4
Cook time: 20-30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 ½ lbs. of shrimp
  • Garlic cloves (as much as desired)
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

Does this recipe sound good? Here are some more delicious recipes from our staff. They’ve made a copycat Waffle House hash brown bowl, homemade pretzel bites and Manwich quesadillas.

Directions:

  1. Melt two tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Once heated, add shrimp, salt and pepper. Cook for three to four minutes while stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the garlic and the rest of the butter to the saucepan. Stir until butter is melted.
  3. Slice the lemon. Add some lemon juice to the pan, leaving aside some lemon slices.
  4. Serve warm with your choice of sides. I recommend veggies of your choice and some wine.
