The University of Idaho’s Annual Outdoor Equipment Sale & Swap will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the University of Idaho Student Recreation Center. The Ski Swap is a community event which is a long‑running tradition for buying and selling winter gear, hosted by the UI Outdoor Program. The event is open to students, families and local outdoor retailers.
Sellers begin setting up at 5:00 p.m. Early shoppers can enter from 6:00–6:30 p.m. for a $5 door fee, 6:30–7:00 p.m. for a $1 door fee, and free admission from 7:00–8:00 p.m. UI students along with children under 12 receive free admission throughout the event. All proceeds from the admission fees will go to support the Vandal Ski Team.
Regional partners including Lookout Pass, Hyperspud Sports and White Pine Outfitters are some of the private sellers who offer everything from skis and snowboards to camping, climbing, cycling and paddling equipment.
