Dubbed the city’s ‘favorite beer festival’

News Graphic | Kieran Heywood

Moscowberfest, a festival themed after Germany’s Oktoberfest, is set for Oct. 10 from 4 to 6 pm. The festival features three pours of beer, wine and cider with the purchase of either a commemorative glass for $40 or an aluminum cup for $30. Festival participants can choose drinks from vendors including Moscow Alehouse and Hunga Dunga.

Alongside drinks, the festival will feature food and activities for the whole family. Festive live music will also be provided during the event. Moscowberfest is used as a way to celebrate the end of harvest season, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce (MCC) wrote on its website. The MCC also states that this event is an opportunity to take part in the culture of Moscow and a way to end the harvest season.

This year, the event also includes a community food drive. Every donation gives an entry to win a $50 Moscow gift card.
