Moscow residents may participate in the next nationwide “No Kings” day of action on Saturday, Oct. 17. The event is part of a nationwide effort focused on encouraging voter participation ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The group holding the event, Indivisible Moscow, previously organized Moscow’s No Kings demonstrations, including a protest in March, that began in Friendship Square before participants marched through downtown.

Unlike previous No Kings demonstrations, organizers are emphasizing early voting, with events planned around the county to help eligible voters make voting plans and participate in their communities. Organizers describe the movement as nonpartisan and committed to peaceful protest and voter participation. Specific details about a Moscow gathering, including its location and time, have not yet been finalized.
