Thursday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 20 Latah County begins to host its annual fair.
They had food trucks from all over the county to attend to visitors. Serving fair favorite foods such as elephant ears, corn dogs, and much more.
Alongside the food trucks, they had vendors that would tend to young children all the way to the elders. As people were feeding their stomachs, spending money towards local vendors, and visiting tables in the barns from local group, University of Idaho extensions from different colleges, and schools around the area.
Leapin’ Loui comes in with his cowboy entertainer act. He performed on Thursday with acts that involved audience participation.
Leapin Louie was loved by all ages, encouraging laughter, gasps, and applause. He ended his act with his mighty steed, a unicycle horse. While on his horse he juggled baskets, participated in some roping tricks and hitting his whip.
Later in the weekend nights, that same stage hosted a place for a local band to play crowd favorites that encouraged dancing and singing along while others roamed, shopped, and rode the rides at the fair.
As others were enjoying the activities, the fair hosted shows for young children all the way up to high schoolers that offered ribbons for participants and winners.
Overall, the fair was a joyful celebration of hometown traditions.
