Vandal Giving Day | University of Idaho Foundation

Vandal Giving Day, the University of Idaho’s annual fundraising event, begins Tuesday, April 7. Last year, the Vandal community raised a record $1.28 million.

Vandal Giving Day will last for 1,889 minutes, running from 10 a.m. on April 7 and closing at 5:29 p.m. on April 8.

To donate online, visit the Vandal Giving Day website. If the area you want to support is not listed, you can still use the online giving form and your gift will still count toward the Vandal Giving Day total.

Employees can set up a one-time or recurring payroll deduction during the giving period. Contact [email protected] or Marie Duncan, senior director of Annual Giving for the UI Foundation at [email protected] with any questions.

Along with many college- and program-specific challenges, there will be a few events during and after Vandal Giving Day around the state.

At the Sip and Select Challenge, available at the Moscow, Boise and Idaho Falls campuses, join fellow Vandals, enjoy a drink and vote for your chosen college. The college with the most votes at the Sip Station will earn $250 to its designated fund.

All three Sip and Select events will take place on Tuesday, April 7. Moscow’s event will take place in the ASUI Student Lounge in the ISUB from 10 a.m.-noon. Boise’s will be located at the Idaho Water Center in Suite 324 from 2-3 p.m. MDT. The Idaho Falls event will be in the BSUB Second Floor Conference Room from 1-2:30 p.m. MDT.

On April 8 from 4-5:45 p.m., everyone is welcome to join a casual gathering at Forty Two Bar and Kitchen, located at 2012 S Main St. in Moscow, to celebrate the success of Vandal Giving Day.
