Global Moments Photo Contest (Ends Sunday, Oct. 19) 

Share your photos that capture international and cultural connections and the ways people interact with the world, global or not. Learn more or submit your photos here. Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19. Winning pictures will be showcased at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Oct. 29.  

Vandal Hip-Hop Club: Belly Dance Workshop (Monday, Oct. 27) 

Come learn belly dancing basics with the Vandal Hip-Hop club at 8 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Recreation Center Dance Studio! The event is free for University of Idaho students and $12 for community members. RSVP here.  

International Education Week Celebration Event (Tuesday, Oct. 28) 

From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the ASUI Vandal Lounge, there will be cultural displays, henna, virtual reality travel experiences and more to launch the annual International Education Week! 

Global Music Open Mic Night (Tuesday, Oct. 28) 

One World Café will host an open mic night for all genres with an international twist. Come to watch or to perform. The music starts at 6:30 p.m. This will be a unique night of music and community! 

Global Moments Photo Contest: People’s Choice — MCOC Open House (Wednesday, Oct. 29) 

RSVP here to see the winners of the Global Moments Photo Contest at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award and enjoy some light refreshments! The event will take place from 4-6 p.m.  

“Minari” (2020) Free Movie Screening at the Kenworthy (Thursday, Oct. 30) 

Come see “Minari” (2020), a heartfelt story of a Korean American family pursuing their own version of the American Dream in 1980s rural Arkansas, at 7 p.m. This event will be an evening of powerful storytelling that explores family, resilience and cultural identity.
