Athletic Club Boise has announced Jeremy Fishbein as the new Vice President of Soccer. Fishbein, who has spent more than 20 years coaching at the NCAA Division I level and working in international soccer, will take the lead in shaping the identity and direction of the club.
“This club is more than just based in Boise, it’s being created for this city,” Fishbein said in a press release. “We’re building something that reflects Boise’s heart and grit and we plan to win the right way: With hard work, integrity and a strong sense of purpose. … This is a special opportunity, and we’re going to build something the city can be proud of.”
Fishbein has become known for developing top-level talent and building winning teams. He’s coached over 50 players who’ve gone on to play professionally across the globe. His teams have included athletes from more than 25 countries, some of whom have represented their national teams at youth and senior levels.
Fishbein has more than two decades of experience in coaching soccer teams and athletics organizations development. Prior to this position, he coached the men’s soccer team at the University of New Mexico for 17 years before building football club FC Madras of Chennai, India, from the ground up. With a strong eye for talent and a passion for development, Fishbein will be tasked with doing that in Boise.

Fishbein will be charged with overseeing the soccer side of the club including hiring coaches, building a playing philosophy, recruiting players and building a team culture, all before they take the pitch.
“This isn’t just about building a team,” he said. “It’s about creating a competitive and inclusive culture and that work begins now.”
Club CEO and co-founder Brad Stith is excited about the hire and what Fishbein brings to the table. “Jeremy’s leadership style is collaborative and grounded, and we’re confident he’ll help build a club that earns respect across Boise and beyond,” Stith said.
Fellow co-founder Steve Patterson shared his thoughts on the hire. “Jeremy’s background at the collegiate, national and international levels makes him a perfect fit to help lead AC Boise into this next chapter,” he said.
With Fishbein now leading soccer operations, the club’s momentum is picking up. Construction is underway for the new stadium at Expo Idaho, set to open in early 2026. The search for a head coach is in progress and player recruitment is expected to begin this fall, laying the foundation for the club to compete from the time they walk onto the grass.
