Happy Monday, Vandals! It’s fall semester registration week, and the semester is ramping up as it comes closer to the end. Stress levels may be high and your workload might be heavy, but don’t forget to take some breaks every now and then. Here are some fun events you can participate in to relieve some stress and have some fun socializing!
Clean Our Campus Challenge (Tuesday, April 8)
Grab some friends and head to the Tower Lawn at 3 p.m. to compete against other teams to collect the most trash. Hosted by the SSC, whichever team collects the most trash around campus will win a prize!
Summer/Seasonal Job Fair (Wednesday, April 9)

If you’re planning on spending summer break in Moscow and need a job, a summer/seasonal job fair will take place in the Clearwater/Whitewater room in the ISUB from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lots of University of Idaho departments and local businesses will be recruiting student employees for summer, seasonal and fall employment. This event is casual and light refreshments will be served, but it may be a good idea to bring a resume and your Vandal card. If you need help preparing for this event in advance, the Career Services on the third floor of the ISUB can assist you.
Spring Sound Bath (Thursday, April 10)
If you need a moment to destress, join Nara Woodland in the Summit room of the ISUB at 7 p.m. for a soothing sound bath. A sound bath is a meditative session involving listening to certain sounds and vibrations, meant to help calm your mind and relieve stress.
Parent and Family Weekend (Friday, April 11)
Spring Parent and Family Weekend is happening this weekend. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday until Saturday at 8:30 p.m., SARB is hosting this event to get some Vandal families back on campus! There will be tons of fun events going on, and tickets for some of the events can be purchased here.
Starving Artist Sale (Saturday, April 12)
More than 60 students, alumni and local artists will share their art in the Bruce Pitman Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Starving Artists Sale. There will be paintings, ceramics, sculptures, jewelry, henna and more.
