According to a press release, the Boise Police Department has identified the second suspect in the Boise hospital shooting this morning as Nicholas Umphenour.
Officers have obtained a search warrant for Umphenour for aggravated battery against law enforcement and the aiding and abetting of an escape.
The vehicle used in the escape has also been identified as a gray 2020 Honda Civic with the license plate of 2TDF43U.
BPD’s investigation led them to identify Umphenour as a suspect and an associate of Skylar Meade. It is unknown where the suspects are or where they are heading.
Umphenour and Meade are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Police urge citizens to call 911 if contact is made.
The investigation is ongoing.
