Welcome back from break Vandals! Hopefully you are returning to classes feeling recharged, rested and ready to finish the last half of the semester strong! Start strong by connecting with friends and attending some of these exciting activities and events happening on campus this week. 

Get Crafty! 

Explore your creative side this Wednesday with Make it at the MILL happening from 12:30 – 4 p.m. in the UI Library MILL. This week’s activity is creating Vibro Brush Bots and Solar Bugs. All materials are free, and anyone is welcome to come build a bot! 

The Women’s Center is hosting Friday Crafternoon this Friday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in Memorial Gym room 109. This week’s craft is participating in the Bandana Project, which helps raise awareness about workplace sexual violence against farmworker women. 

Ha-Ha-Palooza 

Join Vandal Entertainment for UI’s first ever comedy fest starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Administration Building Auditorium. With a lineup of comedians including AZEEM, Eric Escobar and Kitty Pineapple, this is sure to be a night filled with jokes, laughter and fun! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event is free to attend. 

DancersDrummersDreamers 

Thursday through Saturday, students and community members can attend the 33rd annual DancersDrummerDreamers event at 7:30 p.m. in the Hartung Theater. The show features dance choreography and live music performed by UI student musicians and faculty. Tickets are $10 for students and can be purchased online

Cruise the World 

Experience the diverse cultures of the Palouse this Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Pitman Center. Admission is free to this multi-faceted event and attendees can expect to enjoy delicious cultural cuisine and see performances from across the world. This is an annual event that has become a beloved tradition on the Palouse. More information and details can be found here
