Only one more week until spring break Vandals! Enjoy some time with friends and take a break from the stress of school by checking out these exciting events and activities happening on campus this week! 

Laughter Yoga 

This Wednesday from noon to 12:30, students can relax and have fun with Laughter Yoga happening in the SRC room 103. De-stress after a long week and go into the break refreshed by prioritizing your health with this fun yoga session.  

Indoor Mini-Golf 

Have some fun this Tuesday with indoor mini-golf happening at the UI Library from 1-5 p.m. Students can putt their way through the library on an interactive pop-up golf course! Participants will be entered in a raffle to win a Vandal-themed gift basket. 

Celebrate Pi-day early 

This Tuesday, students can join the UI Math club from 3:15-5 p.m. for the 22nd annual Pi Day Celebration and Integration Bee. All students are welcome to join the Math Club in the Pitman Center Vandal Ballroom to enjoy free pie and watch the Integration Bee – like a spelling bee but with Calculus integrals. Cash prizes and swag for the winners, everyone is invited to participate or just come to eat pie and watch the competition! 

Birding Workshop 

This Thursday, the Paradise Audubon Society is hosting a beginner birding workshop for anyone interested in learning the basics of identifying birds. From 5:30-6:30 p.m. in CNR room 10, students can attend the workshop to learn how to identify birds by sight and sound and get the basics of what you need to start birding! 

Vandal Athletics 

Vandal Women’s Basketball will be competing Monday night against Portland State starting at 6 p.m. in the ICCU Arena. 

On Friday, Vandal Men’s Tennis will be competing against Idaho state starting at 4 p.m. in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. They will play again on Saturday at noon against Seattle University in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. They play in the dome again on Sunday at 11 a.m. against Montana.
