As January draws to a close, now is a good time to look back and reflect on all that you’ve accomplished, and take a well- deserved break to do something fun with friends on campus! Check out these exciting activities and events happening in Moscow this week.

Learn to Cook

This Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. students can attend a session of Vandalizing the Kitchen in the SRC room 103. Attendees will learn how to make easy and healthy meals that don’t require much equipment or time. This is a great way to learn how to cook for yourself while balancing a busy schedule.

Ace Sushi Grand Opening

This Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the ISUB food court area, Ace Sushi will have it’s grand opening celebration. The first 100 students to order sushi will receive free golden chopsticks, so it’s a great opportunity to check out the new eats on campus.

“Go Dog Go”

The UI Theater department’s latest show, “Go Dog Go” is opening this week and is showing from Thursday to Sunday. The play is a fun rendition of the classic children’s book, and is sure to be a lighthearted and enjoyable way to spend an evening at the theater. Tickets are free for students, and more information can be found here.

Taste of Nepal

This Sunday from 5-7 p.m., Taste of Nepal will be happening in the Pitman Center International Ballroom. The Nepali Student’s Association is hosting the 19th annual Taste of Nepal, and everyone is welcome to attend for a night of delicious food and fun cultural performances that celebrate Nepal.
