Crumbs: Creamy Chicken Alfredo

You can’t go wrong with a yummy plate of pasta, right? Well, if pasta is what you’re craving lately, this is the recipe for you. This creamy, cheesy chicken alfredo is the perfect dish for the days you want easy cooking that creates some scrumptious food! 

Ingredients: 

*Note: the serving size is 2-3 people* 

  •  ¼ cup butter 
  • 8oz of cream cheese 
  • 1 ½ cups of milk  
  • 1 cup fresh shredded Romano cheese  
  • 1 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese  
  • ½ teaspoon pepper  
  • ½ teaspoon salt  
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder  
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder  
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg  
  • 2 chicken breasts  
  • Pasta noodles (your preference on type and amount) 
  • If you want creamier pasta, use less noodles. 

Directions:  

  1. Start a pot of boiling water 
  1. Shred the Romano and parmesan cheeses 
  1. Melt the butter and cream cheese in a pot or pan, and when melted, slowly whisk in the milk until evenly incorporated 
  1. Add in the pepper, salt, garlic and onion powder 
  1. Add in the cheeses and mix until the cheese is fully melted 
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-size pieces and cook in a pan. Season to your liking 
  1. Boil the noodles 
  1. Combine the chicken, sauce and noodles  
  1. Top with some shredded cheese (optional) and enjoy!
