President Scott Green’s new book titled “University President’s Crisis Handbook” will be released nationwide on December 7th.

The book, co-authored alongside Temple Kinyon, covers three significant periods of turmoil and discusses the ways in which Green successfully utilized sensible collaboration to navigate and get through the moments of adversity that our university has faced. With contributions from numerous Vandal alumni and other industry leaders, this book also offers thoughtful insights and practical advice that nearly anyone, university administrator or otherwise, can learn from and appreciate.

Even if you may not consider yourself the biggest reader, consider this: by owning a copy of the book, you’ll essentially be owning a piece of work that illuminates certain milestones and misfortunes that you may have felt affected by, dealt with, or gone through personally during your years spent here in Moscow.

A meet-and-greet signing will be held at the VandalStore on the day of the book’s release, and another one will take place in Boise on the 11th of December. Future dates and similar events are also being discussed and decided upon.

The proceeds earned from the handbook will go toward supporting the Vandal Healing Garden, a memorial and project presently in-the-works that will honor the four Vandals who passed away last November, as well as immortalize all Vandals that our community has lost over the years.

For students or faculty interested in reading and learning a little bit more about Green and his guidance, orders can be placed through the VandalStore. The book is also currently available for preorder on Amazon.
