  • Day-old steamed white rice
  • 1 egg per cup of rice (or your personal preference)
  • Chopped carrots
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter or oil
  • Water
  • Mountain sauce (soy sauce can be a substitute)

Directions:

Melt butter or put oil in a pan.

  1. Crack the egg(s) into the pan and scramble them.
  1. Season the eggs with salt and pepper.
  1. Once the eggs are fully scrambled, add in your rice.
  1. Break up chunks of rice and mix it into the scrambled eggs.
  1. Put in a little bit of water to ease the process of breaking up the rice.
  1. If you prefer softer carrots, put them into the pan.
  1. Pour in some mountain sauce (or soy sauce).
  1. Mix in the mountain or soy sauce. Keep mixing the rice until the texture is semi-firm.
