A strange coincidence happened in a Kohberger hearing on Wednesday when the judge appointed to the Bryan Kohberger case, Judge John Judge, revealed that he received a juror application for the very same case he has been appointed to.

Judge stated that there have already been many requests for excuse from potential jurors in Latah County, and that he has not excused a single juror yet.

Judge felt it appropriate to ask both the prosecution and the defense if there were any objections to him excusing himself from the jury. No objections were made by either side.

Kohberger’s next court appearance will be on Sep 1. to discuss motions filed from the defense.
