Fruit Pizza | Grace Giger | Argonaut

When looking for the perfect summer desert for parties and gatherings this summer, look no further than this easy fruit pizza. With lots of colorful fresh fruit, this sweet treat is sure to impress and takes less than an hour to put together. I used fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and nectarines, but whatever fruit you have available will work for this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of pre-made sugar cookie dough
  • Blueberries, sliced strawberries, sliced nectarines and raspberries (as much fruit as desired, should be enough to cover entirety of ‘crust’)
  • 1 8oz package of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla

Directions:

1. Cut cookie dough into small pieces and space pieces near each other on a greased cookie sheet

2. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes (or according to package directions)

3. While cookies bake, mix together the frosting by whisking the cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla together until smooth

4. Once cookie has baked and cooled, cut cookie into desired shape and then spread a layer of frosting onto the cookie

5. Add fruit as desired and cut into squares to serve
