Idaho’s annual spring football game returned to Moscow after taking place in Eagle, Idaho last year. The defense started with a 17-0 lead but were unable to score during the game. Quarterbacks Gevani McCoy and Jack Layne didn’t throw any interceptions while every receiver and running back protected the ball. Despite not scoring, the defense looked like they were going to hold on. However, with 11 seconds on the clock, McCoy floated the ball into the endzone. After leaving the field for one play, wide receiver Jordan Dwyer returned to pull the ball down on the sideline to give the offense a 20-17 win.

“I tried to put the ball in the playmaker’s hands,” McCoy said. “That’s what I did, and we came up victorious.”
