Crumbs: Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

Quick and easy cookies that are sure to impress

Peanut butter blossom cookies | Grace Giger | Argonaut

Perfect for peanut butter lovers, these cute cookies only take a few ingredients and less than an hour to make. They are great for sharing with friends and are sure to disappear fast. 

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup sugar 
  • ½ cup brown sugar 
  • ½ cup softened butter 
  • ½ cup peanut butter 
  • 1 egg 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt 
  • 1 ¾ cups flour 
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1 package of milk chocolate Hershey’s Kisses 

Directions: 

1. Combine sugars, butter and peanut butter with a mixer until smooth 

2. Add egg, vanilla and salt, mixing again until smooth 

3. Add flour and baking soda, combine on low speed until well mixed. 

4. Cover dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes, preheat oven to 375 degrees 

5. After dough has chilled, remove from fridge and roll into small balls. Roll the balls in granulated sugar before placing on a greased baking sheet. 

6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, immediately after removing from oven press one Hershey’s kiss into each cookie. 

7. Let cool and enjoy!
