What’s happening at UI this week?

Even though it may not feel like spring with all the chilly weather, this week there is an abundance of fun springtime activities to enjoy with friends and the Moscow community. 

Easter Crafternoon 

The International Programs Office is hosting a fun Easter celebration this Thursday from 1-3 p.m. in the IPO in the LLC’s. Students can come enjoy free snacks and decorate Easter eggs with friends. 

Recycling on Campus 

As of this week, recycling has returned to the University of Idaho campus! Recycling will be available in the ISUB and other central locations and will expand to the rest of campus in the coming weeks. To celebrate the return of recycling and to learn more about how to participate, students can attend the recycling fair on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. in the ISUB Rotunda. 

India Night 

On Saturday from 5-8 p.m. in the Pitman Center International Ballroom, students and community members can attend India Night. The Indian Student’s Association will be hosting this event to showcase the culture, heritage and traditions of India. The event will include cultural performances and informative presentations, along with a traditional Indian meal for attendees to enjoy. Tickets cost $15 for students and $20 for all others and can be purchased online

SArb Easter Egg Hunt 

The Student Alumni Relations Board is hosting a fun Easter egg hunt for families this Saturday from 10 a.m. –noon on the Admin Lawn. Children ages 0–12 are invited to bring a basket and hunt for eggs during this interactive family event. 

Vandal Gaming Convention 

Students can come enjoy a fun day of playing board games with friends this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Pitman Center. The Vandal Gaming Convention is hosting this spring mini-event which is free to attend. Snacks will be provided. 

Vandal Athletics 

Vandal Women’s Soccer will be competing against Eastern Washington University this Saturday starting at 6 p.m. in the Kibbie Dome. Students and Community members alike are encouraged to come support the Vandals this weekend.
