Moscow Police responded to an active shooter report at Moscow High School at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. The MPD has since determined that there was no immediate threat to the school.

The call seems to have come from outside of Idaho and is not a credible threat, according to the MPD.

Schools around the area were notified of the incident and officers are continuing to clear other schools nearby.

MHS has lifted the lockdown but is prohibiting the public and parents from entering the campus. Classes are continuing in the Moscow School District with students being kept inside.

MPD encourages parents to call their children, though all students have been accounted for with no injuries being reported. Questions about pick-ups can be directed to students’ schools.
