After a seven-year hiatus, Idaho tennis held a meet in Moscow

For the last seven years, the Vandals’ tennis teams held their “home” meets at Lewis-Clark State College. Now that the new courts are in the Kibbie Dome, the men’s team was able to hold a true home meet in Moscow. 

They broke in the courts with a win as they beat Seattle University 6-1 on Sunday. Competing for Idaho were Francisco Bascon, Francisco Gay, Matteo Masala, Bruno Casino, Taiyo Kurata and Alejandro Salvador competed for the Vandals. The six players for Seattle were Filip Stipic, Julian Worn, Veselin Kiselkov, Michael Frank, Yu-han Hsieh and Dario Ristovski. Bascon, Masala, Casino, Taiyo and Alejandro all won their singles matches while Gay fell in three close sets (7-5, 7-6, 7-4).
