A man was taken into custody Friday morning in connection to the murders of four University of Idaho students, according to NBC.

Bryan Christopher Kohberger was arrested near Scranton, Pennsylvania with Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI taking the suspect into custody.

PSP in Monroe County Court filed paperwork that said the 28-year-old was being held for extradition in a criminal homicide investigation based on an active arrest warrant for first-degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and Latah County Prosecutor’s Office, according to the Associated Press.

Washington State University’s website lists Kohlberger as a graduate student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. WSU is located in Pullman, Washington, a short drive from Moscow.

The Moscow Police Department has announced a press conference Friday at 1 p.m. PST in Moscow City Hall. The conference will be live-streamed on Youtube.

The Argonaut will continue coverage as more information becomes available. The conference will be live tweeted via Twitter.
