Last Saturday, between the hours of 10 a.m. and midnight, roughly 400 people attended the Vandal Gaming Convention.
This convention was a blast as it offered free classic arcade machines, prizes, and, of course, games. A free demo of the newest Street Fighter game was present, playable, and popular. Prizes were awarded at board game tournaments for games such as Battle Sheep, Uno and Munchkins.
Participants were allowed to paint miniatures with advice from game store staff. Gaming tables hosted RPG games like Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer, Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan.
Winners were announced for the bowling tournament, Smash Bros., Star Wars trivia and cosplay. One of the biggest attractions of the night was the thousand-dollar scholarship raffle prize.
