Friday, April 15

8:01 a.m. Animal Problem: The caller found a dog that was blocking traffic on 6th and Howard streets. The dog was taken to the shelter by the officer. 

8:34 a.m. Stray Animal: A black and white pit bull dog was seen running around E and Van Buren streets. The caller was afraid that the dog would chase another dog and its owner. 

11:17 a.m. Suspicious Person: The caller reported that multiple people have been trying to enter their property since February on Lauder Avenue. 

1:29 p.m. Traffic Violation: The caller saw a flatbed truck on Troy and Main streets with an untethered dog on the back. 

1:47p.m. Threatening: A person called the Chas Health Clinic saying that they were going to go to Seattle to murder someone. The person who called did not specify who they would murder. 

3:43 p.m. Animal Problem: A moose was seen on Sweet Avenue. 

Saturday, April 16

11:28 a.m. Animal Problem: A caller is concerned about a dog in a backyard on Washington Street. The caller describes the area as gross, with frozen water and the dog not being fed by the owner. 

12:37 p.m. Suspicious Person: The caller reported a man holding a rifle heading towards Baker on A Street.  

3:26 p.m. Animal Problem: A moose was seen in traffic near the Latah Credit Union, charging at people. 

9:37 p.m. Fireworks Complaint: The caller reported hearing 8-10 gunshots near Campus Drive.

 9:56 p.m. Gunshot Sounds: The caller reported hearing seven gunshots on Blaine and B streets. 

Sunday, April 17

1:27 a.m. Suspicious Person: The caller reported that he heard people in his basement on South Van Buren Street. 

8:24 a.m. Trespassing Complaint: The caller’s ex refused to leave the property on North Polk Street. 

7:23 p.m. Disorderly Conduct: The caller reported that a woman was “tweaking” and throwing garbage, including on their car on 5th Street.

8:13 p.m. Vehicle Prowl: A vehicle was broken into on Baker Street. The caller reported that the driver’s handle was broken and a firearm was stolen.
