Universities across the state have been removing their mask mandates with numbers in decline. 

The Argonaut will continue with weekly updates on COVID-19 case numbers, vaccinations and more on both the district and state levels.

Public Health – Idaho North Central District

Data used is from Public Health District 2. The local district consists of Latah, Clearwater, Idaho, Lewis and Nez Perce counties. Updated March 4 at 3 p.m.

Cases this week (Feb. 26- March 4): 129

Fully vaccinated 5+: 47,409 (45%)

Fully vaccinated with a booster: 21,421

Deaths: 208

Statewide

University of Idaho and other institutions relax their mask mandates

As of Tuesday, UI’s mask mandate is no longer in place. Other universities have removed their mandates with different restrictions or with an announcement before implementation.
