Crumbs: Celebrate St. Patty’s Day with a Guinness Float

A sweet take on a savory Irish beverage

If you’re trying to get in the spirit of St. Patty’s Day, but corned beef and cabbage just isn’t your style, here is a sweet and savory dessert for those 21 and up to enjoy!  

Prep time: 5 minutes  

Servings: 1 

Ingredients:   

½ bottle of Guinness  

1 scoop of vanilla ice cream 

Chocolate syrup 

Directions:  

  1. Start by making sure your Guinness is chilled. 
  1. Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to a glass. 
  1. Pour beer over ice cream, carefully.  
  1. Top with a generous amount of chocolate syrup and enjoy.
