Top 10 shows on Amazon Prime that are bingeable

Amazon isn’t just an online shipping service; their streaming platform has a good variety of shows for you to watch. However, some of them might not gain enough attention like Netflix and Hulu. Here are the top 10 licensed shows that Prime has offered to members of the service.  

10). Bones  

Want a good procedural show that is rich with comedy and drama? Then check out Bones. This one-hour comedy-drama centers around Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth as they attempt to solve possible murders. The show features interesting dynamics and great characters. 246 episodes of this show are available on Prime.  

9). Chuck  

Before he became Shazam, Zachary Levi was Chuck. In this show, Chuck is an average man who gets the only remaining copy of a software program containing U.S. Secrets in his brain. He is sent on missions by the CIA and NSA. There are 91 episodes of this hit show to watch.  

8). Rosanne  

Want a feel-good show with great moments of John Goodman? Then check out Roseanne. They have the episodes from the 80s and 90s, but still is a great show to binge on. 222 episodes are available for your viewing.  

7). Mr. Robot  

In the age of technology, it is only right that there’s a show about technology. This techno-thriller features Rami Malek, a worker for a cybersecurity company and as a cyber-vigilante on the side, is recruited by a mysterious anarchist known as Mr. Robot. He joins his team of hacktivists on a variety of missions. 45 episodes of this show are available to view.  

6). The Americans  

This Cold War thriller sees 2 undercover KGB spies living in Virginia as they peer on the American Government. This show is intense and the acting and writing are amazing. 75 episodes are available and will keep you on the edge of your seat.  

5). Elfen Lied   

This science-fiction anime features a mutant named Lucy, who utilizes telekinetic arms as a means of defense and attack. It is very bloody and violent but has themes of revenge, jealousy and humanity that will make you tear up. It only has 13 episodes but is so good, you’ll watch it multiple times.  

4). How I Met Your Mother  

This is the story of “How I Met Your Mother,” in 208 episodes. This show centers around Ted Mosbey, a father recounting the memories of his youth and how they ended with him meeting their mother. This award-winning show is full of great humor and sad moments that hit viewers in their feels.  

3). 30 Rock   

Like Saturday Night Live? Well, how about a show that has the feel of it and features SNL stars like Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin. This show centers around writers for a sketch comedy show, some of which is based on Fey’s own experience. This critically acclaimed show has 139 episodes hilarious episodes, and the finale is supposed to be one of the best.  

2). Dexter  

Tired of shows where the bad guy gets arrested? Then watch a show where you root for a serial killer. This show centers around Dexter Morgan, a serial killer working for the Miami Police department as a forensic technician, who uses his connections and job to deal out his own form of injustice. The show is intense as he tries to keep himself out of the law’s eyes. There is a revival of the show coming out later this year, so for those wanting to do a quick recap, there are 96 episodes to go through.  

1). Scrubs  

This comedy-drama tells the tale of JD, a young physician who works at Sacred Heart Hospital. The show is told through his internal thoughts and surreal fantasies, which are just hilarious to look at. This show has a variety of hilarious characters along with some of the best roasts and insults to ever come out of it. The soundtrack of this show is also worth mentioning because it is phenomenal, and it has some of the saddest moments in television. This show is hilarious though and is a good feel-good comedy to watch. Check it out, there are 182 episodes.
