Mindfulness Drop-in  

Time: 12 p.m.—12:20 p.m.

Join Jamie Derrick, an associate professor at the university, as she guides a mindfulness session this Wednesday. She will walk those who join through a meditation experience to relax the mind and body. This session can be joined every week and can be a helpful stress relief. 

Boost the Immunity  

Time: 6:30 p.m.—8:30 p.m.

As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted lives and structure in everyday life. In this seminar, Ramon Sodano will walk people through how to care for their health. The pandemic is dealt with reactionary measures rather than preventive ones, but we can always plan ahead. Learn how to apply easy, everyday strategies that can help boost immunity.  

Jams with Spotswood Abbey  

Time: 8:30 p.m.—11:30 p.m.  

Date: Dec. 4 

Place: Bucer’s Coffeehouse Pub 

Price: Free  

Grab a drink, find a spot and relax to live music at Bucer’s. Spotswood Abbey will perform their usual show, including covers of well-known songs. Enjoy the ambience of live music in a coffee shop and Saturday night spent well.  

1912 Center Winter Market 

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Missing the farmer’s market atmosphere and have some money to spend? Come to the 1912 Center and browse crafts from local vendors. All profits will support small start ups and the passion that fuels their craft.  

Printmaking First Saturdays  

Time: 1 p.m.—4 p.m.  

Date: Dec. 5 

Place: Raven Hammer Studio 

Price: $45 

Let out your artsy side and join Raven Hammer Studio for a Saturday printmaking session. Upon payment, patrons will be provided with an abundance of supplies and help. Space is limited so be sure to RSVP and grab a spot.
