Vandals For Recovery Coffee Hour  

Time: 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Place: Idaho Student Union Building Panorama  

Vandals for Recovery is hosting a coffee and social hour this Tuesday. This group chooses to not drink alcohol or use substances, providing support for members of its organization.  

Jamie Derrick Mindfulness Drop-In  

Time: 12- 12:20 p.m.  
Date: Wednesday  
Place: Online

Drop-In Mindfulness Wednesdays are back. This 20- minute guided meditation session is led by University of Idaho Associate Professor of Psychology Jamie Derrick. No meditation experience is necessary, so all are welcome.

Get the Scoop! Women’s Center Open House  

Time: 12-2 p.m.  
Date: Wednesday  
Place: Memorial Gym Lawn  

The Women’s Center is hosting an ice cream social to give information about programs, services, space and opportunities to get involved. Anyone can drop in during the session to meet staff and ask questions. Free ice cream and frozen treats will be provided.  

Mobile Food Pantry  

Time: 12-2 p.m.  
Date: Wednesday  
Place: Student Recreation Center Parking Lot, University of Idaho  

The regular Vandal Food Pantry cabinets aren’t open due to COVID-19. Instead, the Mobile Food Pantry is operating as a curbside pickup service. Bags pre-packaged with fresh food and nonperishable items are given to those who attend based on the size of their family. All are welcome.    

Mountain Bike Ride  

Time: 4-7 p.m.  
Date: Thursday  
Place: Moscow Mountain  

This week, anyone is welcome to take a free evening bike ride with the UI Outdoor Program. Participants must meet at the Outdoor Program on campus and bring their own bike, helmet and light. Registration is required before Sept. 2 to join. 

Soil Stewards Produce Sale  

Time: 4-6 p.m.  
Date: Thursday  
Place: Soil Stewards Student Farm, 425 Farm Road  

Student interns and volunteers will sell fresh seasonal produce grown on their farm. The sale will have varied produce available each week. Updates regarding the sale can be found on the Soil Stewards Student Farm Facebook page. Social distancing and masks are required at the sale.      

Managing COVID-19 Stress  

Time: 7-8 p.m.  
Date: Thursday  
Place: Wallace Basement, Wallace Residence Center and Zoom

Amanda Ferstad from Vandal Health Education will be hosting a presentation about coping strategies for managing anxiety and stress associated with COVID-19 and how to manage Zoom fatigue. Participants can ask questions during the session.
