Friday, July 10

6:06 p.m. Threatening: A reporting party overheard his neighbor making threatening statements about law enforcement. The reporting party said he did not feel safe living there. An officer responded and no report was taken.

8:37 p.m. Other Law Enforcement Calls: People were reported as standing outside of Bucers not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. Officers responded and no report was taken.

Saturday, July 11

1:20 a.m. Noise Complaint: A caller reported multiple people talking loudly on Lauder Avenue. They said it had been happening since 8 p.m. that night and is an ongoing issue. Officers responded and warned two groups for noise. No report was taken.

11:01 a.m. Civil Calls: A neighbor left a note on a caller’s car on S Monroe Street the previous day advising he can’t park on the street anymore. The caller wanted to know more about parking laws and wanted an officer to come out to see the note. An officer responded and no report was taken.

11:54 a.m. Stray Animals: Two dogs were seen near Henley Street. The caller was unable to tell if they were friendly, but they ran up to him a week ago.

11:59 a.m. Burglary: A caller reported someone stole some items from their garage on Mallard Circuit at some point Wednesday night. The caller had left their garage door open that night. An officer responded and a report was taken.

12:14 p.m. Theft Other: A caller reported some bikes were stolen the previous night from W A Street. The bikes were last seen around 10 p.m. the previous night and the caller noticed they were gone at 10 a.m. that morning. An officer advised and no report was taken.

3:08 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A silver quad propeller drone was spotted flying at a high altitude near N Home and W C Streets. No report was taken.

4:11 p.m. Theft Other: A reporting party stated her neighbor stole $1,200 from her. An officer advised and no report was taken.

5:51 p.m. Stray Animals: A German Shepherd mix without a collar was seen running around near Idaho Inn. The reporting party said it seemed friendly and another customer on the scene was able to transport it to the Humane Society. An officer responded and no report was taken.

7:41 p.m. Stray Animals: A lost brown hound mix with short hair was found near S Jefferson and Lewis Streets. An officer responded and impounded the dog. No report was taken.

Sunday, July 12

12:09 a.m. Welfare Check: A reporting party heard a little girl scream near Safeway about a minute ago. An officer responded and no report was taken.

9:21 a.m. Pandemic/Epidemic/Outbreak: A large group of people not practicing social distancing went into Nuart Theater without masks. An officer advised and no report was taken.

7:32 p.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstance: A woman pulled into her driveway on Taylor Avenue and a man in his late 20s with a full beard asked if she lived there, went quiet, confirmed she lived there, then laughed and drove away. She said the man also asked to come inside.
