Business feature Friday: Magenta and Co.

Local realtors office opens new location this week

Magenta and Co., a division of Kestrel Realty Group, moved to a new location on Washington Street this week.

Tiffany Bentley, the owner of Magenta and Co., is in her 17th year selling real estate and wanted to build a close-knit team with her new business. The team is working remotely for now, but is excited to open their new doors.

“The office is designed so that we can work and function as a team instead of individual offices where we don’t see a lot of hear each other,” Natasha Summers, another realtor on the team said. “It’s got a really open feel so I’m excited about that, to be able to easily coordinate with everybody.”

While Summers has worked with Bentley for the past two years, she’s been a realtor since 2015. The realtors on the Magenta and Co. team have similar values and goals for client experiences, Summers said.

“Other offices have lots of agents and stuff like that, but we’re the first true team where we coordinate together and work with one another a lot,” Summers said. “We’re excited to bring that higher level of service to people. We started this because we wanted to be able to coordinate and personalize our team.”

Another aspect of the office which sets it apart is Bentley’s focus on community service. Last February, she hid 200 “kindness coins” around Moscow. The coins could be redeemed at Panhandle Cone and Coffee for a free scoop of ice cream. In the next few weeks, Bentley plans to host outdoor movie nights for the community. Her business philosophy is “if you take care of people, people will take care of your business.”

Despite COVID-19 and the ensuing turmoil, Bentley said the housing market is still busy, so the business is doing what it can to follow safety guidelines.

“Even in these crazy times, the market is really crazy and we can find innovative ways — whether that be a FaceTime tour or something else — to help (customers),” Bentley said. “While life has slowed down, life hasn’t stopped. I still have people moving out of the area for a job and they have to sell their home, so there’s things that we can do to make them feel comfortable.”

Magenta & Co. is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday  and can be contacted at 208-310-7346.
