UI Library opens for curbside pickup

Accessing University of Idaho library materials safely

Breaking News Graphic

The University of Idaho Library is now offering curbside pickup. Students and other patrons can request physical items from the library for pick up, not just books.

The library building itself is closed to the public, but other services, including tutoring and additional materials, are available online.

To send in a request, visit the library’s online catalog and select “Request Curbside Pick Up.” Once the request is successfully received, an email will be sent. Once the item is ready, patrons will be able to reserve a time for pickup during the curbside pickup hours.Curbside pickup is available 11 a.m. to1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

It may take two or more business days from when the request is placed to receive items.

Checked out materials can be returned through the library’s exterior book drop, where the items will be quarantined for three or more days.
