Last week’s first Moscow Drive-in filled all 140 spots in 23 minutes after the lot opened at 7 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the City of Moscow.

This week’s drive-in will show a 2000’s classic “Mean Girls,” and offer an additional 60 spots for a total of 200 spots. Due to high attendance, the City of Moscow also announced the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Centers parking lot will open at 6 p.m., an hour earlier than the before, on a first come, first serve basis.

All showings, including those after today, will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday. The drive-in has two additional movie showings. On May 30, the drive-in will show “A League of Their Own,” and on June 6 they will show “Mission: Impossible – Fallout.”

According to UI’s website, movie goers are encouraged to bring their own snacks and must stay in their cars or trucks beds unless using the bathroom.

The drive-in is sponsored by the University of Idaho’s Vandal Entertainment, the City of Moscow, the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre and more.
