After the first episode of “Listen to Your Heart”, I thought I knew what was going to happen next but I was thrown for a loop.
I wanted all the juicy drama to keep coming in the next episode. This week the roses were in the men’s hands, so the women had to fight for their man.
First off, the previews hinted that there was going to be cheating that could possibly hurt Trevor and Jamie’s relationship. The cheating situation ended up happening in the episode, but it really was less of a big deal then the show let on.
Trevor didn’t tell Jamie on their one on one date this episode that he “emotionally cheated” on his ex. However, Jamie told him she has been cheated on in every relationship she’s been in, but he said nothing.
Yuck.
How do you not say anything? Like I’m sure he was thinking ‘if I tell her the truth she’s not going to want me for sure.’ Why can’t guys realize all women want is the truth?
But Natasha, a friend of Trevor’s ex, arrived at the mansion and spilled the tea to everyone there while Trevor and Jamie were on their date. Everyone gasped and was mortified. All they really cared about was Jamie.
When Trevor and Jamie came back from their date Natasha confronted Trevor to tell Jamie about his past, and he did not take that well. He took a little while to admit that he emotionally cheated on his ex-girlfriend.
He ended up coming clean to Jamie, and they were fine. No yelling, no nothing.
BORING.
Next, Chris and Bri went on a date to Guitar Center. They had the whole place to themselves. Dear future husband — take me there! This is a dream date to be surrounded by beautiful guitars. They sang and really connected on another level.
To be frank, I still have my reservations that this show is a bit cheesy, but these two looked genuinely happy. I could feel their connection through the screen and it brought tears to my eyes. I want to see more focus on them this season and hope at the end of this they are still together and as strong as ever.
Another couple wasn’t as love-struck as these two though.
Sheridan and Julia went on a date, and it seemed Julia just isn’t interested in Sheridan. It seems to me, she wants what she can’t have. Poor Sheridan is her guinea pig she is stringing along to stay on the show.
After the date she straight up told him ‘I’m keeping my options open and want to see if Brandon and I have a connection.’
Like, what?!?
Sheridan was heart-broken because he really connected with her on this date and he still wanted to be with her.
It seems to me she dumped him, but did it in a way that was wishy-washy and that kept his hopes up.
Who is this Brandon she is talking about you ask?
Apparently he is the hot commodity of the season. A bunch of girls were all over him, and he enjoyed kissing all of them. Savannah got the date card and took Brandon away. All the ladies were sweating because they wanted to win Brandon’s heart.
I swear it felt like “The Bachelor” all over again.
*eye roll*
Since Savannah took Brandon on the date she got a leg up. However, Julia would not back down and decided to confront Brandon after the date with a giant make-out session after he told her he basically wrote her off after Sheridan gave her a rose last week. I thought it was a lost cause.
Apparently it wasn’t.
At the rose ceremony I wasn’t too surprised in the coupling. Brandon ended up giving his rose to Savannah, so Brandon’s fan club ended up going home. All except for Julia who was saved by Sheridan.
Pour shmuck.
After the rose ceremony, Brandon told Julia he was glad she was still there and they will figure things out between them.
This screams ‘I’m a player’ all over it. Ew. He chose Savannah and now he’s going to play tonsil hockey between the two in the next episode? Talk about not being honest or making a decision. The ladies didn’t come here to share — they came on this show for their own man!
Oh, let us not forget the real twist in this episode. Matt and Rudi made out and are a couple again. Yikes. She yelled at him AGAIN and he still wants her. I’m excited to see this train wreck yet again because there is no way they will stay together.
There is so much to digest in these episodes, my brain is going to explode.
How will Brandon deal with his lady situation? Will Matt get slapped again? Guess we will find out in the next episode.
