The University of Idaho announced the annual spring game for Idaho Football is canceled in a Vandal Athletics press release.

Vandal Athletics and Idaho Football stated “as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of its student-athletes, coaches and fans” for the game’s cancelation.

“It’s unfortunate that we’ll be unable to invite the families and alumni to the spring game this year,” Idaho head coach Paul Petrino said in a press release. “In the interest of the health and safety of our student-athletes and our community we have decided to forgo this year’s spring game. We look forward to seeing all our fans again at the games next fall.”

This follows UI announcing spring sports cancelled their seasons earlier this week and the Big Sky Championships for basketball being cancelled.

The Argonaut will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
