The University of Idaho Department of Theatre Arts announced Friday there will no longer be any productions after March 13 due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Currently they are in the middle of showings of their latest production “The Moors” by Jen Silverman. There will be no more showings following Friday’s 7:30 p.m. performance according to a news release from the UI Theatre Department.

Tickets for that showing will be sold at a “pay what you can” basis. Those who have purchased tickets for future shows can contact the Department of Theatre Arts for refunds or exchanges at (208) 885-6465 or by email at [email protected].

Rehearsals and production activities for the upcoming production “You Can’t Take It With You” are cancelled until further notice.

Updates and more information can be found on UI’s website.
