The alley behind the Bruce M. Pitman Center will temporarily close to through traffic tomorrow morning. Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) provided a map, outlined in red, of tomorrow’s closure.
The closure is scheduled to begin before 8:30 a.m. and end before noon, UI’s PTS information specialist, Robert Mitchell, said.
Vehicle access to the north section of the alley, leading up to Gold Parking Lot 18, will not be available, which is the gold lot next to the Pitman Center.
The western entrance to the Pitman Center will remain open, along with the accessible parking spots, delivery and service spaces on Seventh Street.

Maintenance by the City of Moscow will occur to evaluate ongoing issues with the alley’s sewer line conditions, Mitchell said.
