The Prichard Art Gallery is one of many local spaces in Moscow dedicated to artistic expression.

Located in the heart of downtown, the gallery provides an easily accessible space for the community to view art. It also allows for artists to freely express themselves, their art and their ideas.

This weekend, the Prichard is inviting the community to come and experience their major fundraising event: 16th Invitational Exhibit and Benefit Art Auction.

The auction is supporting the gallery’s exhibitions program. Proceeds from the auction will support the Prichard and its continuing operations.

The exhibit has been available to view since Dec. 20 and will stay at the Prichard until Saturday. Auction artwork can be viewed on their website.

There will be over 60 pieces of art from regional and local artists available for auction. The auction will be this Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Ticks are $25 and are available at the door. With purchase of a ticket, there will be a complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling water, desserts and other goodies will be available as well as refreshments.

Because space is limited at the Prichard, bids can be placed remotely by email or over the phone. To place a bid, email [email protected] or call 208-885-3586. When placing a bid, provide the artist’s name, piece name and lot number. The Prichard will contact the bidder and confirm the bid to determine how to proceed as bidding continues.

Silent bidding will continue through the end of the evening on Saturday.

The Prichard would like to thank the community for making this event possible. The benefit auction would not be possible without everyone’s support. Proceeds from this auction will continue to keep the Prichard alive and well, will help support artists and will continue to provide opportunities for artists in the future.
