ASUI’s first meeting discussed UI’s possible polling place, tuition freeze and more

ASUI had its first weekly meeting of the spring semester on Jan. 22 at the University of Idaho.

Big-ticket items:

  • UI polling place
    • Latah County and the University of Idaho are working to place voting booths on campus and the agreement is in the hands of Latah County and on its way to being finalized.
  • Tuition freeze
  • ASUI position changes
    • Sen. Julie Attinger is now the Rules and Regulations Committee chair and Sen. Stella Davidson-Musser is now a member of the Rules and Regulations Committee. And Savannah Stroebel is the new vice-president’s adjutant.
