As The Argonaut Staff and lovers of puppies, we took to the Palouse to find the best pups you have to offer. No matter the size, color, breed or pawverty level — all pups are the best and we are here to find them. Missed us this week or want your pup (or other furry creature) to be featured in next week’s Pups on the Palouse? Send us an email at [email protected].

This week on Pups on the Palouse, we meet two pups from Palouse Paws. These pups came for a session of Therapy Dogs on Thursday morning.

Lark sticks out her tongue while getting scratched.

Lark is a thirteen-month-old Newfoundland. She is still in training, and was happy to get some scratches.

Paisley patiently waits for a treat from her human.

Paisley is a three-year-old mixed breed poodle. Her human rescued her and because she didn’t know what kind of dog Paisley was, her human ran a DNA test on her and discovered she was mixed with three breeds of poodles.

Paisley also happy to get scratches from everyone.

The next Therapy Dogs session will be from 1:30 – 4 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 3 at the ASUI Vandal Lounge located in the Idaho Student Union Building.
