4 p.m. Monday | Mental Health First Aid for Students: Part 1
Student Recreation Center room 103
The Counseling and Testing Center will host a certification program for students to understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance abuse. The CTC also provides training for faculty and staff. For more information and to register, visit the CTC website.

5 p.m. Tuesday | Moscow City Council Candidate Forum
Renfrew Hall room 125
The departments of Sociology & Anthropology and Politics & Philosophy will host a forum for students, staff, faculty and community members Tuesday evening. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to city council candidates discuss their vision of Moscow’s future. Questions can be submitted by emailing [email protected]

6:30 p.m. Wednesday | Spooky Science Show
Renfrew Hall room 112
The College of Science Ambassadors will host a spooky science show for the community. All ages are welcome at the event.

7 p.m. Thursday | Escape the ISUB
Summit room, Idaho Student Union Building
Vandal Entertainment and Puzzle IQ will host several escape rooms in the ISUB. Multiple rooms, each with a different theme, will be set up throughout the ISUB and the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society will host a trivia game while attendees wait for escape rooms to open.

4:30 p.m. Friday | Stillinger Herbarium Open House
Mines Building room 116
The Stillinger Herbarium will welcome the public Friday to explore their new location. The herbarium keeps plant, fungal and fossil specimens and supports research and education. Visitors will have the chance to try pressing or mounting plant specimens or to test their plant identification skills to win a prize. Refreshments will be available.

7:30 p.m. Saturday | NorthNorthwest 10-Minute Plays
Pocket Playhouse, Shoup Hall
NorthNorthwest, a collaboration between the Northwest Playwrights Alliance and the University of Idaho, will host an evening of ten new works by a variety of playwrights in a range of genres. The plays are directed by David Harlan and performed by UI Theatre Arts students. The plays are targeted towards mature audiences. Tickets are available by calling (208)-885-6465.

7:30 p.m. Sunday | Phi Mu Alpha American Music Recital
Haddock Performance Hall, Lionel Hampton School of Music building
The UI Beta Sigma chapter of the Phi Mu Alpha music fraternity will host a concert of music written by American composers. The concert is free and open to the public and will count as a recital attendance for MusX140 students. The recital will be livestreamed on the Lionel Hampton School of Music Facebook page.

7:00 p.m. Monday | City of Moscow City Council Meeting
Council Chambers, City Hall, 206 East Third Street
The City of Moscow City Council hosts regular meetings open to the public. The council “serves as the legislative and judicial arm of the City government,” according to the Moscow Chamber of Commerce Website, by enacting local laws, passing policies and more. Three city council members will be up for election November 5.
