Boba tea and more galore

Employee Alyson Crum advertises her favorite Boba Tea at the Popo on 6th Street in Moscow.

I was walking down a street in Moscow when I suddenly realized I was in need of a fruit smoothie to quench my thirst.

I happened to stumble upon a giant sunshine hangout with drinks and food beyond one’s imagination — Popo.
Sure enough, they had that perfect mango smoothie I was wanting — that I’d been hoping for.

I ordered my drink, panicking about what size I should get. Small? Large? I couldn’t tell how much smoothie would fix my thirst.

Apparently, I didn’t need to worry. Popo has one size for all, and it isn’t a small one. It contains the perfect amount to gulp down and enjoy with a meal.

Popo has a variety of drinks to choose from for every taste bud, such as Bubble tea, smoothies, slushies, coffee, Italian soda and even juices. They will make your drink dreams come true — just like they did for me.

The best part was the whipped cream. Popo provides every topping you’ve ever dreamed of to top-off the your cup’s flavors.

They have Boba, herb jelly, ice creams balls and, of course, my favorite — whipped cream.

My stomach growled, craving pot stickers, and sure enough, they had just what I wanted. They had many other options, as well.

Popo’s menu consists of random food appetizers for whatever you’re craving at the time. French fries, tofu, cheese sticks, fried shrimp and whatever else you can possibly think of — they have it.

When I sat down at a table and dove into my meal, I realized something. I’ve become addicted to Popo, and I wouldn’t be able to stay away no more.

I admit, I’ve always judged this spot and never walked in because I figured my sunny personality is enough for this world. I don’t need to eat in a bright, yellow restaurant.

I was wrong. Everyone needs to experience the ray of sunshine Popo provides the Moscow community. This place is way better than what meets the eye.

Popo is filled with a greetings of yellow and green, cat illustrations covering the walls and games galore. It’s an open space with splotches of colorful chairs to sit and enjoy your meal with.

The food and drink is the best part of Popo, but it has much more to offer students and the community.

It’s better than any coffee shop because they have food and games for customers to play, passing time. I’ve never seen this offered in any restaurant or establishment I’ve been at — it makes the whole dining experience come to life, and this place has it all.

Whenever I walk past this cheery building I get the urge to walk in and try something new. Now, if only I had more money.
